Our Patron:

Triple World Champion and 4 time Paralympic Sailor

Hannah Stodel

Born missing her lower right arm, Hannah learnt to sail at a young age as a way of coping with the bullying she experienced as a result of her disability. Fiercely competitive with a strong independent spirit, Hannah took on the 29er, Laser 3000 and Laser 4.7 racing circuits. She went on to represent Great Britain at Youth and Junior levels in World and European Championships in the Mirror and 29er Classes for the able-bodied.

Since then she has won multiple World, European and National Championships over several classes and is an inspiration to both able-bodied and disabled sailors. In 2020 Hannah aims to fulfil her childhood dream of being the first disabled sailor to compete in the Vendée Globe.

Hannah is also a motivational speaker and an incredible sailing coach. We are very proud to have her support.
